My word for the year for 2026 is " Peace ". I found it was a word that was going over and over in my head from around October/November 2025 and realised it was there for a reason.  My monthly roundups are now going to consist of things I've done that month to bring me peace.

December 2025

I haven't skipped November. I just have nothing to report on as it was a quiet, chilled out month. Of course December wasn't.

October was a month I had been counting down to for 2 years and 10 months....the reason why....

September 2025

September was a big month for me as I turned 40! As a rule I now always take my birthday off work to have as a Wellbeing Day and I'm so glad I do that.

August 2025

August was lush! And definitely made me realise that maybe Summer is a favourite season of mine. I just feel like there is so much more to do, I have more motivation to want to go out in the evenings and weekends and also really enjoy even the basics of being at home in the garden.

Harry turned 14! My boys birthdays are 3 weeks apart so June and the beginning of July are always busy and packed with something for us to do. Our tradition for Harry's birthday is to go to Jimmy's Farm. June was BUSY !! Probably a bit too busy and did result in me feeling quite overwhelmed.  However, I made some amazing memories so the overwhelm was definitely worth it.

Well April just flew by! It didn't feel long ago that I was writing my March roundup post and now here I am writing an April roundup! I genuinely thought that March might be relatively quiet. Other than having plans to go to London with work for an event, I didn't think I'd have much else going on really. How wrong I was! This was my March:

After a busy January it was so nice to finally have a relaxing month. No pressure, no extra expense (although the extra expense in January is always worth it).
