October was a month I had been counting down to for 2 years and 10 months....the reason why....
I saw Simply Red!
Simply Red were a big part of my childhood. I absolutely love them and always felt sad at not being able to ever see them on tour. My dream came true thanks to my fiancé.
They were absolutely incredible, I cried, I danced, I sang, I cried some more. They really did not disappoint.
Watford with Harry!
Sadly when I was having a lovely time seeing Simply Red and enjoying London there was a big leak in my house and my work laptop was a victim and stopped working. I was able to work on an old laptop and in my local store but I was able to quickly get a new laptop provided to me by work. I had to go to Watford to collect it. It was ready on a day I actually had a day off booked in the school holidays so I thought I'd use it as an excuse to have a day to Watford with Harry. We dropped Charles off at work then drove to Watford, traffic was bad so it took longer than usual to get there, but when we got to the office it was really nice to show it off to Harry and to introduce him to some of my work friends, including my boss! Afterwards we went into town and played a game of golf and got a bubble tea before driving back home to collect Charles from work.
It was such a lovely day and I was glad for Harry's company.
MOT!
Not something I'd usually write about but my cars MOT was due and Charles let me know the garage he works at were able to do the MOT for me. My mum offered to come with me and take me for brunch whilst I was waiting for my car to be done. It was really nice to spend some time with her.
Charles of course decided to prank me and message me to say my car had failed so as revenge I embarrassed him when I went to collect my car, despite promising not to.
