June 2025

June was BUSY!! Probably a bit too busy and did result in me feeling quite overwhelmed.
However, I made some amazing memories so the overwhelm was definitely worth it.

Judge Rinder!
I had an amazing opportunity to be on a panel at work hosted by Judge Rinder. It was a great experience, and I felt honoured to sit on the panel alongside some colleagues I hadn't met before and to have some real honest, in depth conversations. And if you were wondering, yes Judge Rinder is well spoken in real life and is really lovely. He had such a beautiful energy around him and I'm so happy I got to meet him and spend some time with him.

Craig David!
My fiancé bought us tickets to see Craig David at Earlham Park in Norwich. We weren't really sure on what to expect and had seen that Craig David was only actually on for an hour. We booked a hotel for the night as it was cheaper than getting a taxi home.
It was incredible! Two DJs played before Craig David came on, one of which was DJ Spoony. In all honestly, the other DJ was better and got the crowd going and dancing a bit more. The music was hip hop and dance and I was in my element!
I bought myself a flower crown and also gave in to temptation and got glitter face paint....at £12 it was a splurge but I loved it! I'm pretty sure the hotel might not have loved having to clean it up from the floor though....it goes everywhere.
Craig David was amazing. Definitely proof that men CAN multitask! As a 90s/early 00's girl, I really was living the dream!

BBQ!
My dad bought my son a BBQ for his birthday last year. Now whenever the weather is nice my son BEGS to do us a BBQ. This was our second one of this year. We try and cook something different to what we've done before each time. I'm not usually a fan of sausages but he cooked these ones perfectly.

A night with friends!
We went round the house of one of my fiancés friends. It was the first time I'd met him and his wife. We had such a nice evening HOWEVER it is very dangerous drinking whilst chatting. You don't realise how much you've been drinking until it hits you and the very next day you will be left with a very tender head.
We both loved their dog...you wouldn't believe my fiancé is allergic to dogs would you?!

British Superbikes!
Next year I'm being treated to a trip back to my favourite island to go to the TT! However, I really needed a bike fix and got me and my boys tickets to go to Snetterton to watch British Superbikes. Although I am a TT fan I don't know much about BSB and only know 3 of the riders. We took a sun tent as it was HOT. Just as we were finishing putting the tent up I watched the bikes as they went past and sadly saw the first crash I've seen and it was quite a brutal one. We then discovered it was one of the racers I knew of and is the main one I was supporting which was a shame.
Although we enjoyed watching the bikes we only stayed for 3 hours because of the heat. There was no breeze at all. But I got 3 hours of a bike fix and that was enough for me.

Charles turned 16 and finished school!
Charles turned 16! It was his weekend at his dads, usually I would have him the night before his birthday if it fell on the week he was with his dad and then would do him a special breakfast. However this year we had decided that we wouldn't do that and I'd just see him on the Monday. I was ok with that at first but then really struggled with the fact that it would be the first year I wouldn't see him on his birthday. So me and Tom headed over to the pub near the boys dads house and had a drink in the sun with him. It was lovely.
The following week was Charles' final GCSE exams and his last day of school. I was very emotional but also super proud.
