December 2025

I haven't skipped November. I just have nothing to report on as it was a quiet, chilled out month. Of course December wasn't.

Christmas Night Out 1!
Charles has his first Christmas night out with his workplace so I took Harry out for a Christmas dinner too so he didn't feel left out. Although it was nice spending time together the food and service was a bit poor but it was a nice thing to do anyway and something we can now do every year.

Christmas Night Out 2!
I headed over to Milton Keynes to a work night out for Christmas which was really nice! I haven't been to a work Christmas night out for 4 years so this felt like a nice treat.
The next day I went shopping and then headed to meet a friend I've spoken to pretty much every day for the past couple of years but had never met in person. I was super nervous but for no reason. It was such a lovely evening and I left feeling super lucky to have her in my life.
You really can meet some amazing friends through work.

Christmas Night Out 3!
My fiance is self employed so every year we have a "works Christmas night out" for him. This year we went to a pub in a village near us for dinner and drinks which we both really enjoyed. It's one of our favourite pubs to go to for a drink but we hadn't eaten there up until that night so it was a really nice change of scenery.

Horning!
I'm not a fan of that bit between Christmas and New Year. I think I have decided that despite always saying I don't do routine that actually, I do need routine. I think that also the cold weather really makes a difference to how I feel because there's not as much you can do.
We headed over to Horning to a pub and the highlight was definitely looking at the sunset over the Broads.

Lowestoft Town FC!
We've been to see Norwich play matches before but never our local team. We didn't have plans one day so we decided last minute to go and watch them play. It was super cold but we did enjoy ourselves and it was nice to experience local football and something different to usual.
