August was lush! And definitely made me realise that maybe Summer is a favourite season of mine. I just feel like there is so much more to do, I have more motivation to want to go out in the evenings and weekends and also really enjoy even the basics of being at home in the garden.
Amsterdam!
We were super lucky that my mum treated us all to a holiday to Amsterdam. I have been once before with my fiancé but my mum and the boys have never been. It was INCREDIBLE! The location of our hotel was perfect and we ticked off everything we planned to do plus gave ourselves free time to do anything else we saw and fancied.
The weather was amazing too, hot and sunny the whole time we were there!
It was lush to be able to make some amazing memories with my mum and the boys. Definitely a holiday we will never forget.
Sheringham!
One weekend my fiance and I decided to go to North Norfolk and visit Sheringham. The weather was beautiful and we just went with no plans really other than to have a look around.
There was a market on in the main car park and I was DELIGHTED to have found band tshirt for The 1975! I've wanted one for so long. It had some sun bleaching on the arms and a couple of holes in it so they let me buy it for £5 rather than £10. The sun bleaching has come out in the wash and the holes look like they are meant to be there so that was a win for me!
We visited a couple of pubs and got an ice cream. I felt like a rebel getting a Christmas Pudding flavour ice cream in the summer!
Cinema Trip!
Harry and I decided to make the most of our weekend and instead of sitting around early on Saturday morning doing not a lot we headed to the cinema! Because it was early there was hardly anyone else there and it set us up nicely for the day to either have a guilt free afternoon knowing we'd already got out of the house or to do something else if we found the motivation.
Italia Fest!
We go to a few different car shows each year to keep Charles happy. This year we went to one we haven't been too before. Italia Fest. It was really good, again lovely weather! (see, I do apparently love the summer). The cars were fab and we also enjoyed a pizza and a drink.
