Murrays Motor Museum | Isle of Man

In 2019 I took my boys to experience their first Isle of Man TT.
Unfortunately, the weather didn't want my boys to experience it properly and in the 5 days we were there we only saw one practice race. The rain sadly caused the other practices to be called off. Good for the racers, not quite so good for us.

However, I love the island without the races so we didn't let it ruin our time there. We visited some of my favourite places and also visited Murrays Motor Museum, which I had never visited before.

Now, as much as I've tried to get my boys interested in the TT it hasn't worked. However, they can name some racers, they know that we are Team Dunlop through and through, so they were also happy when we saw some Dunlop bikes.

It's always worrying taking children to a museum. "Don't touch anything". "Don't get too close". But Murrays Motor Museum was amazing.
The staff were so welcoming to the boys. They even got some free Joey Dunlop merch from the people looking after the Joey Dunlop Foundation stand. I needn't have worried at all.
There was so much to see there, it really is a lovely museum and well worth a visit.
