Bread and Chocolate Spread Pudding

I love bread and butter pudding. Love it!
It would be one of my chosen desserts for my "final supper".

Today I really fancied making some. I didn't have enough butter to make it and also cover the weekend so I experimented by replaced the butter with chocolate spread.
The result? Delicious!

Ingredients:
Butter (for greasing)

4 or 5 slices of bread. crusts off.
Chocolate spread (I used Nutella)
50 grams of caster sugar
50 grams of raisins
3 eggs
3/4 pint of milk

Take an oven proof dish and grease it using butter or marg.
Spread Nutella on one side of each of the slices of bread.
Line the dish using some of the bread. Chocolate UP. Then add the raisins and half of the sugar. Then add the remainder of the bread. Again chocolate side UP.
Sprinkle the rest of the sugar on top.
Mix together your eggs and milk and pour on top. Make sure your egg/milk mix covers the bread and is poured into and gaps so it reaches the middle and bottom of the dessert.
Cover with cling film and leave for 30 minutes.
In the mean time pre-heat your oven to 170 degrees.
After the 30 minutes is up, place your pudding in the oven for 40 minutes, or until a little crispy on top.

Then serve hot with ice cream.

[disclaimer, mine isn't burnt, its the chocolate which has browned]
